Do Ho Suh is a South Korean artist based in London who works primarily in sculpture, installation and drawing. In this survey exhibition, Suh invites visitors to explore his large-scale installations that address the theme of dwelling. Is home a place, a feeling or an idea? Suh asks questions about the enigma of this living space, our identity and how we move and inhabit the world around us. With immersive artworks that explore belonging, collectivity and individuality, connection and disconnection, Suh examines the intricate relationship between architecture, space, body, memories and moments. An intertwining that is the most vivid testimony to what makes us “who we are”. Moving between Seoul, New York and London through life-size replicas of homes past and present, Suh invites the audience to immerse themselves in the depths of his unique inventive practice.
