Jamiroquai: The Heels of Steel Tour 2025

The return of Jamiroquai to Europe marks one of the most significant musical events of Autumn 2025. The British band, led by Jay Kay, will take the stage at Paris’s Accor Arena with a new tour celebrating thirty years of a career that has consistently defied convention, blending Funk, Soul, Electronica, and an irrepressible spirit of experimentation. Formed in the early 1990s, Jamiroquai emerged as a key player in the so-called Acid Jazz movement, while always resisting easy categorization. From their debut Emergency on Planet Earth (1993) to the global success of Travelling Without Moving (1996), the band fused 1970s groove, pop sensibility, and environmental themes with a strong visual identity. Jay Kay’s feathered hat and the band’s iconic videos - Virtual Insanity above all - became symbols of an era. Over the years, Jamiroquai has managed to stay both consistent and versatile. Albums like A Funk Odyssey, Dynamite and Automaton showcased their ability to reinvent themselves, shifting from disco-infused atmospheres to more electronic textures, while preserving the funky pulse that has always defined their sound. Their return to the stage, after a long hiatus, comes in a radically transformed musical landscape. Yet Jamiroquai’s offering remains fresh and physically engaging - continuing to stand apart. The band is a rare case in today’s music scene: capable of combining instrumental virtuosity, stylistic awareness, and a pop language that is accessible without ever being trivial. Thirty years after their debut, their voice remains distinctive, surprising, and, above all, authentic.
