Julie Curtiss explores suburban life in Suburban Lawns

Wolfgang Tillmans has been given carte blanche to occupy the 6.000 square meters of the Bibliothèque publique d’information with his art. Through the lens of his aesthetic universe, Tillmans explores the form, architecture and functions of this place.

An exhibition with over 300 works to tell the pulverized universe of Art Brut through the collection donated by Bruno Decharme to the National Museum of Modern Art of the Centre Pompidou.

More than 200 works, including 126 exceptional loans from the National Museum of Cambodia, to tell the story of bronze art in Cambodia, from the 9th century to the present day.

The exhibition highlights the poetics of ruin, organic decomposition, the forbidden or even the apocalyptic spectre, that testify to the obsessions of collector Jean Chatelus with 400 works that reflect different aesthetics and voices.
