The MUDEC opens the drawers of its collection of exotic artifacts, donated over the years by citizens, enthusiasts, businessmen, travelers, researchers, and exhibits a selection of souvenirs that reflect the relationship between the collector and the artifact. There are objects intended for the domestic market and others created for the tourist market. There are ancient and modern means of transport. There are travel stories entrusted to diaries, photo albums, sketchbooks, maps made by travelers from the end of the nineteenth century to the entire twentieth century. The crucial issue of migration and diasporas is addressed instead through the work of some directors including Yervant Gianikian and Angela Ricci Lucchi. A journey within a journey.
