After winning the Oliver, WhatsOnStage and World Broadway 2022 Awards, Back to the Future. The Musical arrives to Tokyo with a show that has even been defined by many as "the perfect musical escape." A show that took inspiration from the Hollywood blockbuster of the same name which in 1985 became a global success, projecting Jamie Lee Fox and the protagonists of the story onto the covers of magazines all over the world. You know the story: a brilliant and somewhat careless scientist invents the time machine, in the guise of a flaming sports car, a souped-up DeLorean to move the clock hands of history at 88mph. The musical has excellent fathers: the creators are Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis, the direction is by Tony Award winner John Rando. Memorable original music by Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard and hit songs from the film including The Power of Love and Johnny B. Goode.
