Acting as a resort within a resort, with a dedicated separate entrance, the Three-Bedroom Mansions exist in their own enchanted world, which creates ultimate privacy for the guests. Ensconced in mature tropical gardens that reveal ocean vistas, the mansions have an extensive footprint and feature architectural and interior design that wows from the first steps up a leather-topped staircase into the vast living room decorated with orchids, Indonesian antiques and artwork.
A full-time butler stands by to unpack luggage, serve beverages from the bar and kitchen and present meals under the dining room’s dazzling crystal chandelier. The butler may also arrange experiences such as a private al fresco barbecue dinner or coordinate couples massages in the dedicated private spa pavilion.
In addition to two grand staircases, an elevator can take guests down to three lofty suites, each radiant thanks to soaring glass doors letting in natural light. It plays well off the rich wood and jewel-toned textiles used traditionally by Bali’s royal family. Each suite has its own indoor lounge in addition to seating outside. Extensive closets give way to the immense suite bathrooms; each one’s layout is unique but all feature Mosaic marble-clad bathtubs—equipped with bath salts and Bvlgari’s exclusive fragrance and bath collection—along with artisan tiled showers plus additional outdoor showers.
Outside, a two-tiered swimming pool draws inspiration from the curvaceous rice terraces in Bali’s north for its unique shape. Plentiful sun beds with umbrellas line the large decks and there is abundant plush seating in the shaded outdoor living room where one can hear native birds singing and water falling from the upper pool to the lower.
