Works that speak of migration, spirituality, layered memory, and invisible relations: the exhibition curated by Zong Han opens in Shanghai as a collective reflection on the dynamics of the Southeast Asia. Across ports, rivers, and uplands, the archipelago emerges as both a historical and symbolic structure - more than just a metaphor. Artists such as Kawayan de Guia, Tia-Thuy Nguyen, and Jakkai Siributr delve into entangled narratives, sedimented materials, and personal mythologies. The second part of the project, presented at Bao Room in the heart of the former French Concession, turns inland - toward what pulses beneath the surface: spirituality, bodies, and history. In doing so, it sketches an alternative geography built not on borders, but on connection.
The Qizhong Forest Sports City Tennis Center will host the Shanghai ATP Masters 1000. The world’s top players will compete on hard courts in a key event on the road to the Nitto ATP Finals. Among the stars: Sinner, Alcaraz, Djokovic, Zverev, Medvedev, and Rublev.
Yanis Khannoussi and the Echo of Absence: Sculpture as Living Memory
For his first solo show in China, Yanis Khannoussi unveils a series of sculptures that turn absence into form, exploring themes of memory, time, and infinity. A journey through matter and metaphysics, where loss becomes visible through poetic geometry.
A journey through the work of Álvaro Siza, Master of contemporary architecture, where drawing meets light, space becomes narrative, and each project grows from dialogue with its surroundings.
