Felice Casorati was not only a painter. A multifaceted figure in the Italian artistic scene, Casorati loved to experiment and cultivate numerous passions. He devoted himself to drawing and illustration, but also to music. According to numerous testimonies, in the evening throughout his life he dedicated at least half an hour to the piano, playing for himself and not for others, four-handed with his wife. He undertook numerous collaborations as a set and costume designer for the Teatro alla Scala and the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome. Today Milan is ready to dedicate an anthological exhibition to the Piedmontese Master, which intends to retrace his artistic career through the display of some masterpieces from prestigious Italian public institutions and private collections, with some selected loans from European museums.
