A cyclopean exhibition to tell the story of one of the most influential artists of the 20th and 21st centuries: David Hockney. At the Fondation Louis Vuitton, more than 400 of his works will be brought together in 11 rooms, including paintings from international, institutional and private collections, and works from the artist's studio and foundation. "This exhibition means a lot because it is the biggest I have ever had," commented Hockney, born in Great Britain in 1937. Among the works on display, this will be an opportunity to rediscover some of his masterpieces such as A Bigger Splash from 1967 and Portrait of An Artist (Pool with Two Figures) from 1972, but also more recent works such as Looking at the Flowers (Framed) from 2022.
