A Big Bang right in the middle of the Giardini Indro Montanelli. No, it’s not the latest apocalyptic publicity stunt, but a journey through time, both real and virtual, taking shape in the public park of Porta Venezia, thanks to a spectacular immersive experience dedicated to Planet Earth. From March 19th, 2022 occurring every weekend, The R-evolution Park is a a journey between virtual reality and live experience which unites scientific narration, emotions and discoveries in 75 minutes, spread over 6 sections. From the birth of life to the arrival of man, from the theme of sustainability to the risks our planet faces, participants can experience a high-impact emotion-packed itinerary while understanding just how much their actions can destroy or save our environment. While the first section retraces the birth of Earth, starting from the Big Bang, the second section of this experience transports the public into a primordial world, among dinosaurs and unspoiled forests. Following, in the successive sections, the arrival of man and the impact of the evolution of culture and technology. The journey also touches on the biodiversity of the savannah, with its animals and its riches, today in peril, even accompanying visitors to the glaciers and coral reefs damaged by climate change. The sixth and last section takes an in-depth look at the issues regarding man’s impact on the planet, then seeking to understand what contributions we can make, through our behaviours, to make a positive difference. The meeting point for this journey is at the entrance to the Museo di Storia Naturale, in the Giardini Indro Montanelli, where this experience lasting an hour and a half will begin, complete with details from scientific guides and the most realistic Virtual Reality technology. Each participant will be provided with a VR visor, inside of which, can be activated the virtual reality experiences for a stunning journey across time and space.
