Working tools that shape the visual narrative that the director, together with the actors and other professional figures present on the set, will create during the production of a film. Storyboards and other materials such as moodboards, drawings and sketches, scrapbooks and notebooks, annotated screenplays and photographs do not really fall within the artistic artifacts: they are the representation of the creative vision of the director interpreted by the storyboard creator and at the same time they are technical tools for the professionals. Yet in those notes there is all the creative vision in potential form. The exhibition is set up by tables: inspired by drawing desks, each exhibition table is dedicated to a specific film with a selection of scenes that can be observed up close.
