A new Slam is upon us. The most important clay tournament in the world will meet fans from 20 May to 9 June 2024. The Stade Roland-Garros - named in memory of the First World War aviator, the first pilot to fly over the Mediterranean Sea - promises spectators moments of great sport with the second Major of the year after the Australian Open. Born in 1891, allowing participation exclusively for local athletes for a few decades, since 1925 it Roland-Garros has welcomed tennis players of all nationalities, inviting the public to the challenge between the most illustrious rackets in the world. On several occasions, Nadal has stated that 2024 will likely be his last year on the tour, but has kept the door open to play further depending on his results.
