A few meters below the surface, in the crystal clear waters of Tulanben beach, the vision of the submerged wreck of the USAT Liberty offers a unique and unrepeatable experience. The US Army cargo ship, torpedoed by a Japanese submarine in 1942, has now become one of the most popular dive destinations in Bali and also one of the most accessible. In fact, you start directly from the beach and after 150 m the ship appears at a depth of just over 6 m which, with its 125 m, stands on the side and descends to a depth of 28 m. Entirely covered in anemones and corals, it has become home to an infinite number of colorful fish and some turtles, presenting a marine environment so rich and varied that it resembles an aquarium. It is the ideal place for those who want to dive and is accessible to divers of different experience levels, but is also ideal for snorkelling. The USAT Liberty also offers night diving opportunities, where you can observe nocturnal sea creatures and enjoy a different perspective of the wreck.
