Gallerie d’Italia – Milan presents Look at me like you love me – Guardami come se mi amassi, the powerful solo exhibition by American artist Jess T. Dugan. Symbolically opening on the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia, the show invites viewers to slow down and engage deeply with faces, bodies, and stories that speak of identity, love, and belonging. It’s an intense and necessary project, curated by Renata Ferri and promoted by Intesa Sanpaolo with support from its Diversity & Inclusion division and the internal LGBTQ+ community ISPROUD. Through 30 photographs - five of them never shown before - and two videos, the artist explores the nuances of human connection and the search for belonging. The large-scale, emotionally charged portraits capture bodies, gazes, and relationships that reveal experiences of longing, solitude, and love.
