Remote Universal: the World after the Pandemic

Remote Universal: the World after the Pandemic
#Exhibitions

A collective exhibition that has the ambition to re-discuss, in light of the global upheavals caused by the two-year pandemic, the meaning of two words: universal and remote. A question that the curators entrust to nine artists (eight individuals and a collective) and which will display works created both before and after the Covid epic to redesign, also with irony and disenchantment, the very meaning of "living in common" in contemporary societies. What world are we creating? What challenges does the impossible combination between global life and coexistence in isolation pose? These are some of the questions that the artists Daisuke Ida, Xu Bing, Trevor Paglen, Giorgi Gago Gagoshidze / Hito Steyerl / Miloš Trakilović, Maiko Jinushi, Tina Enghoff, Jeamin Cha, Evan Roth and Natsuko Kiura will try to answer.
