The laboratory of the absurd by Desiree Heiss and Ines Kaag
#Exhibitions

Funny, eccentric, irreverent. Desiree Heiss and Ines Kaag love to poke fun at the glossy world of fashion and the impeccable perfection of design. The duo born on the Paris - Berlin axis since the mid-90s has created Bless Service, a sort of laboratory of the absurd, a studio at the service of the creation - both practical and surreal - of clothes, objects and worlds capable of resisting time and space. “We are situation designers” Heiss and Kaag like to jokingly define themselves. Basically they are two creatives who work in a borderline territory between fashion, design and interventions in space. Bless is a factory that asks questions about the relationship between customer and brand, that questions what luxury is and what it means, what the nature of things is. Questions that are at the same time practical, conceptual and anthropological. Essential but ephemeral themes that implicitly address discourses that go beyond their field of action. The exhibition at MACRO recounts the 25 years of activity of these two "unbearable", brilliant, style revolutionaries.
