The group exhibition CAMP brings together artists with a critical eye on social structures, united by an aesthetic sensibility that transcends the intellect to touch emotions and thoughts. Camp manifests itself in the exaggeration of style and artifice, expressing a love of the unnatural with audacity and irony. Often associated with queer culture, it is distinguished by a playful and courageous expression, even in an era marked by ideological tensions and global conflicts. Despite the uncertainty of the world, Camp rejects tragedy and advances with irony, pursuing its own distinctive aesthetic. The artists in this exhibition fascinate with their independence and expressive strength. Sixty years after the publication of Susan Sontag's Notes on ‘Camp’, this sensibility continues to exert a strong appeal, demonstrating its topicality and cultural impact.
