You know the story: a brilliant and somewhat careless scientist invents the time machine, in the guise of a flaming sports car, a souped-up DeLorean to move the clock hands of history at 88mph. The musical has excellent fathers: the creators are Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis, the direction is by Tony Award winner John Rando. Memorable original music by Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard and hit songs from the film including The Power of Love and Johnny B. Goode.
