Julie Curtiss explores suburban life in Suburban Lawns

In this exhibition, the Petit Palais reveals the breadth and diversity of its collection of jewelry designs, which spans more than a century of design, from the second half of the 19th century to the mid-20th century.

Emperor Rudolf II (1552 - 1612) was one of the European rulers who had the greatest enthusiasm for the study of nature. He called scholars and artists from all over Europe to his court, making Prague a true laboratory for experimentation, in a climate favorable to intellectual and religious tolerance.

The first exhibition in France devoted to so-called “degenerate” art, it explores and puts into perspective the Nazi regime’s methodical attack on modern art, showing the scope of the aesthetic and the artists it targeted.

Elegant women, playwrights, composers, declaiming actors, musicians in rehearsal, spectators and celebrities are the protagonists of the show that Leo Cappiello stages in his delicate pastel drawings.
