It is one of the most loved and performed works of all time. Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata is considered a masterpiece for its melodic perfection and the effectiveness of the orchestration. The version that will be seen at the New National Theater bears the directorial signature of Vincent Boussard, known for his sophisticated staging with an unerring eye for colour.
