Countdown to World Art Dubai

World Art Dubai (WAD), the region's largest contemporary art fair, is set to present its most ambitious edition yet at the Dubai World Trade Center from 2 to 5 May 2024, celebrating a decade of artistic excellence. This year WAD embraces Dubai's ambitious goal of doubling the contribution of creative industries to its GDP by 2026 as part of Dubai's Creative Economy Strategy. A major arts event that attracts thousands of visitors each year, showcasing the works of over 300 artists and galleries from Dubai and around the world and featuring a wide range of artworks, from sculpture and watercolors to digital and fashion. In this new edition the WAD presents over 4.000 works of art organized in 12 pavilions dedicated to 65 countries and regions, including Japan, India, China, Turkey, Iran, America, Asia, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Europe, United Kingdom and Arabia. Over four days, the WAD also presents an extensive program of initiatives including live performances, conferences and artistic workshops.
