Luxury Hotel in the Campo Marzio area

Bulgari Hotel Roma

Destination

Here the spirit of the Emperor Augustus flies through the air reads the bas-relief in Latin set on the building’s south façade. Bvlgari Hotel Roma rises in the heart of Campo Marzio, the crown jewel of the historic Piazza Augusto Imperatore. A touchstone of Roman history, it is one of the best places to appreciate the evolution of the city over the millennia, with views encompassing ancient imperial Rome, modern architecture, and everything in between.

Set on a flat area along a bend in the Tiber, Campo Marzio has a very strong symbolic and evocative value. Today, it is considered the golden “trident” of high fashion and shopping.

It is here that Emperor Augustus sets some of the monuments that are now so emblematic of Rome. He thus built the Pantheon in the place where tradition held that Romulus had become a god, so as to present himself as the direct successor of Rome’s first king. The Pantheon and the Mausoleum were perfectly aligned and linked by the Via Flaminia, now called Via del Corso.

Bvlgari Hotel Roma is beautifully set in the heart of the city, a few minutes from Via del Corso shopping, Piazza di Spagna, and the Bvlgari boutique in via Condotti.
