From 18 to 22 September 2025, London Fashion Week will bring together the fashion world’s most dynamic voices with a new season of Spring/Summer 2026 collections. As one of the key events shaping global style alongside Paris, Milan and New York, London offers a unique stage where tradition and experimentation meet. Known for its eclectic energy and disruptive creativity, the London showcase blends the theatrical flair of punk with classic tailoring, fostering a culture where fashion is both a visual statement and a tool for change. With more than 250 designers expected to present collections across runways, installations and digital platforms, the city will once again turn into a vibrant constellation of creative encounters. Iconic British names such as Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Paul Smith, Stella McCartney and Jimmy Choo will return alongside new-generation designers whose work engages with gender, sustainability and contemporary narratives. The contrast between subculture and heritage, so distinctive of the British style, continues to define the energy of the week. London Fashion Week has become a leading voice for ethical fashion. Following the ban on fur in 2018, the decision to eliminate exotic animal skins from 2025 confirms a consistent move toward sustainable values. The British Fashion Council’s support for innovation also includes encouraging digital experimentation, circular practices and inclusive representation. The menswear sector, undergoing structural changes, will be represented mainly through dedicated showrooms and cross-platform initiatives rather than stand-alone runways. For the SS 2026 edition, a strong presence of gender-fluid collections and hybrid aesthetics is expected. Designers are pushing the boundaries of materiality, craftsmanship and silhouette, proposing new ways of understanding identity and expression through fashion. London, once again, becomes a lab for testing the future of style - where global trends, local craftsmanship and radical creativity converge.
