Van Gogh wonder at the National Gallery
#Exhibitions

Vincent Van Gogh is the protagonist of an extraordinary exhibition, which is already announcing itself as the "exhibition of the century" and which promises to bring the most important and beloved paintings of the Dutch genius from museums and collections all over the world to the National Gallery in London . A true immersion in Van Gogh's art, through swirling clouds and cypress trees swaying in the wind, through the magical places of his paintings and drawings. The exhibition focuses on Van Gogh's journey to the South of France, to Arles and Saint-Rémy, a decisive period in his career which revolutionized the painter's style, giving life and representation to a poetic and romantic imagery which still today not ceases to inspire poets, writers, artists and the general public. At the exhibition we will see famous artworks including Starry Night over the Rhone (1888, Musée d'Orsay) and The Yellow House (1888, Van Gogh Museum), Sunflowers (1888) and Van Gogh's Chair (1889) both from the collections of the National Gallery.
