Kim Ayoung, Lu Yang, Sato Ryotaro, Jakob Kudsk Steensen, Adrián Villar Rojas are some of the artists participating in the collective exhibition MACHINE LOVE. An exhibition that presents contemporary works of art created through the use of video game calculation engines, virtual reality, algorithms and generative artificial intelligence and which demonstrate the potential that these technological innovations can offer artists to extend human creative power. These works explore new aesthetics and image-making through the use of various datasets existing in digital space, examine how avatars and online characters can cultivate new types of gender and racial identities, addressing a variety of issues such as the environmental crisis, the interpretation of history, ethics, humanity. Works of art created together by "machines" and "artists" and which create a platform to contemplate the relationship between humanity and technology, evoking emotions of love, empathy, euphoria, fear and anxiety.
