The Truth of the Image

In this body of work at XVA Gallery, Al Mohasen engages with the notion of truth as a visual experience, employing a practice that combines colour, poetic reference and expressive techniques to encourage viewers to look beyond surface appearances. Born in Qatif, Saudi Arabia, in 1971, Hussein Al Mohasen has been active on the international art scene for over two decades.
