At Leica Galerie Milan, a visual encounter unfolds between two photographers distant in age but united in intent: Gianni Berengo Gardin and Roselena Ramistella. The exhibition, part of the international program In Conversation, marks the centenary of the Leica I with a series of 12 shows worldwide, each pairing a Leica Hall of Fame Master with a rising contemporary voice.
At the heart of the project is not a clash of styles, but a mutual listening. Berengo Gardin captures a black-and-white Italy rooted in work, daily rituals, and unexpected beauty. Ramistella offers a deeply personal and layered vision - an inner Italy made of memories, landscapes, and complex identities. This exhibition is both a celebration and a moment of reflection: two distinct photographic languages that brush against one another without merging, inviting the viewer into a silent yet profoundly resonant conversation across time.
