In the heart of lesser-known Rome, Cultura in Cantiere invites the public to cross the threshold of a usually inaccessible site and take part in an extraordinary experience. Every weekend until December 2025, Palazzo San Felice opens its doors and reveals itself in the midst of transformation - amid scaffolding, architectural plans, and unexpected discoveries. This majestic building, set to become the future home of the Library of Archaeology and Art History through a design by architect Mario Botta, now presents itself as a living, evolving space. The 45-minute guided tour leads visitors through institutional spaces and historic halls, unveiling details that would otherwise remain hidden. A highlight of the visit is the extraordinary opening of the Sepulchre of the Sempronii and the display of the remarkable Nuova Pianta di Roma by Nolli - an 18th-century masterpiece of urban cartography. Through immersive installations and digital renderings of the future project, the public witnesses the making of a new cultural hub in the city. Cultura in Cantiere is more than just a visit: it’s a narrative experience, a journey through transformation, and a window onto what is soon to become.
Festival des Cabanes 2025: ephemeral architecture in the gardens of Villa Medici
Five temporary installations transform the gardens of Villa Medici into a creative laboratory where art, nature, and sustainable visions converge. Also on view is the celebrated Panorama of Rome by Louis Le Masson.
For the first time on display, Dolce&Gabbana’s iconic creations trace the creative journey of two designers who turned Italian fashion into a symphony of art, craftsmanship, and tradition.
