Born in 1955, Kenjiro Okazaki is a visual artist, children's book author, and robotics designer whose work spans a variety of genres, including painting, sculpture, landscape design, and architecture. This is the first monographic exhibition of a celebrated Japanese artist known worldwide at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. It is also an opportunity to retrace the history of his artistic practice from his early days to the present day, presenting some of his most significant works, with a particular focus on the cycle of his most recent works, starting in 2021.
